POLICY TO RESOLVE STUDENT DISPUTES

Should an enrolled student be unable to obtain satisfactory recourse through the Summit Pacific Distance Education Director in a matter of concern over the college’s operation (e.g. course content, fees assessed, grade assigned, requirements imposed, etc.) the following policy is provided:
- The student should address his or her complaints in writing to either Dr. Wilf Hildebrandt or Dr. Melody Deeley (whichever one is not directly involved).
- Dr. Hildebrandt or Dr. Deeley (as appropriate) will request a written report on the matter from all faculty or staff involved.
- Dr. Hildebrandt or Dr. Deeley will review the submissions.
- Dr. Hildebrandt or Dr. Deeley will provide a written decision, with reasons, to all involved parties
